Strawberry Pattern


Supplies
Worsted weight yarn (less than a skein in each color)
6.5mm safety eyes
3.5mm crochet hook (I used a Furls Odyssey Crochet Hook)
Stuffing, black thread (for eyebrows and mouth), needle and scissors

Strawberry
Rnd1: With red yarn and starting at the bottom of your strawberry sc x 6 in a magic ring, or ch x 2 and do 6sc in the second chain from your hook (6)
Rnd2-3: Sc x 6 (6)
Rnd4: [Inc, sc] x 3 (9)
Rnd5: Sc, [sc, inc] x 4 (13)
Rnd6: Sc, [sc x 2, inc] x 4 (17)
Rnd7: Sc, [sc x inc] x 8 (25)
Rnd8: You will be placing the safety eyes in this roud, sc x 11, place your fist safety eye in the last stitch you just did, sc x 2, place your second eye in the last stitch, sc x 11 (24)
Rnd9-11:Sc x 24 (24)
Rnd12: [Sc x 4, dec] x 4 (20)
Rnd13:Sc x 20 (20)
Rnd14: Dec x 10 (10)
Rnd15: Dec x 5 (5)

Stem
Rnd1: With green yarn and starting at the tip of your stem sc x 5 in a magic ring, or ch x 2 and do 5sc in the second chain from your hook (6)
Rnd2-4: Sc x 5 (5)
Rnd5: Do this entire round in the front loops, inc x 5 (10)
Rnd6: **[slip stitch in the next st, ch x 4, turn, sc x 3, then sc in the main stitch], now skip the next stitch** Repeat the sequence that is between the ** five times, now fasten off.

Assembly 
Stuff your strawberry firmly, trim ends and weave them in. Sew on the stem, mouth and eyebrows, and the stem. Enjoy your new little berry!
