Fatso Peanut Butter and Banana Pattern Set....AKA the best snack ever!



Supplies
Worsted weight yarn (less than a skein in each color)
6.5mm safety eyes
3.5mm crochet hook (I used a Furls Odyssey Crochet Hook)
Stuffing, black thread (for eyebrows and mouth), needle and scissors

Banana
Rnd1: With yellow yarn and starting at the bottom of your banana sc x 6 in a magic ring, or ch x 2 and do 6sc in the second chain from your hook (6)
Rnd2-3: Sc x 6 (6)
Rnd4: [Inc, sc] x 3 (9)
Rnd5: Sc x 9 (9)
Rnd6: Sc, [inc, sc] x 4 (13)
Rnd7: Sc, [sc x 2, inc] x 4 (17)
Rnd8: Sc, [sc, inc] x 8 (25)
Rnd9: Sc x 25 (25)
Rnd10: Sc x 3, dec x 4, sc x 14 (21)
Rnd11-13: Sc x 21 (21)
Rnd14: [Sc x 3, dec] x 2, sc x 11 (19)
Rnd15: Change to white yarn and sc x 19 (19)
Rnd16: Sc x 19 (19)
Rnd17: You will be placing the safety eyes in this round, sc x 14, place your first safety eye, sc x 2, place your second eye, sc x 3 (19)
Rnd18: [Sc x 3, dec] x 2, sc x 2, inc, sc x 4, inc, sc (19)
Rnd19-20: Sc x 19 (19)
Rnd21: Stuff your banana firmly as you are working now, sc, dec x 9 (10)
Rnd22: Dec x 5 (5)
Rnd23: Dec x 2, fasten off (2)

Banana Peel (Make three)
Row1: Decide where you would like your first portion of the peel to start and insert your hook behind the post between Rnd14 and Rnd15 where the white portion of your banana starts and sc x 6 across (6)
Row2-3: Turn, ch, sc x 6 (6)
Row4: Turn, ch, dec, sc x 2, dec  (4)
Row5-6: Turn, ch, sc x 4 (4)
Row7: Turn, ch, dec x 2 (2)
Row8: Turn, ch, sc x 2 (2)
Row9: Turn, ch, dec, fasten off (1)
**Special Note: When you are on the last peel do not fasten off, instead continue to crochet round the entire piece all of the peels, then fasten off!

Fatso Peanut Butter Jar
Rnd1: With tan yarn and starting at the bottom of your mini Fatso Jar sc x 6 in a magic ring, or ch x 2 and do 6sc in the second chain from your hook (6)
Rnd2: Inc x 6 (12)
Rnd3: [Sc, inc] x 6 (18)
Rnd4: [Sc, inc] x 9 (27)
Rnd5: [Sc x 3, inc] x 6, sc x 2, inc (34)
Rnd6: [Sc x 4, inc] x 6, sc x 4 (40)
Rnd7: Do this entire round in the back loops, [sc x 8, dec] x 4 (36)
Rnd8: Sc x 36 (36)
Rnd9: Sc x 3, [sc x 8, dec] x 3, sc x 3 (33)
Rnd10-19: Sc x 33, fasten off at the end of Rnd19 (33)

Fatso Label
Row1: With pink yarn ch x 39  (39)
Row2: Turn, sc x 38 (38)
Row3-7: Turn, ch, sc x 38, fasten off at the end of Row7 (38)

Lid
Rnd1-8: Work the same as the Fatso Peanut Butter Jar but with white yarn.


Assembly
Stuff your banana firmly and weave in all ends. Sew on a little mouth and eyebrows. Stuff your Fatso Jar firmly...sew on the lid and label. Also sew on eyebrows and a mouth. Weave in all ends and trim them.
