T-Rex Pattern

Supplies
Patons Astra Yarn (less than one skein of each color)
7mm safety eyes
2.5mm crochet hook
Stuffing, black embroidery thread (for eyebrows), scissors, needle

The Pattern
Head (starting at the nose)
Rnd1: Sc x 6, or ch x 2 and do 6sc in the second ch from your hook (6) 
Rnd2: Inc x 6 (12)
Rnd3: Inc x 12 (24)
Rnd4: Sc x 24 (24)
Rnd5: [Sc x 3, inc] x 6 (30)
Rnd6: Sc x 30 (30)
Rnd7: [Sc x 3, dec] x 6 (24)
Rnd8: Sc x 24 (24)
Rnd9: You will be placing the safety eyes in this round. sc x 6, place your first eye in the last stitch you just did, sc x 8, place your second eye in the last stitch you just did, sc x 10 (24) 
Rnd10: Sc x 24 (24)
Rnd11: [Sc x 2, dec] x 6 (18)
Rnd12-14: Sc x 18 (18)
Rnd15: Make sure your safety eyes are firmly attached, now stuff your t-rex firmly from this point on, dec x 9 (9)
Rnd16: Dec x 4, sc (5)
Rnd17: Dec closed x 2, fasten off (2)

Body
Rnd1: Flip your t-rex upside down and pick up 8 stitches (8)
Rnd2-3: Sc x 8 (8)
Rnd4: [Sc, inc] x 4 (12)
Rnd5: [Sc, inc] x 6 (18)
Rnd6: Sc x 18 (18)
Rnd7: [Sc x 5, inc] x 3 (21)
Rnd8-13: Sc x 21 (21)
Rnd14: Sc, dec x 10 (11)
Rnd15: Dec x 5, sc (6)
Rnd16: Stuff our t-rex firmly, dec x 3, fasten off (3)

Leg (make 2)
Rnd1: Sc x 6, or ch x 2 and do 6sc in the second ch from your hook (6) 
Rnd2: Inc, sc x 5  (7)
Rnd3-5: Sc x 7, fasten off at the end of Rnd5 (7)

Arm & Spike (make 2 for the arms, and the amount of spikes that you would like on your t-rex)
Rnd1: Sc x 5, or ch x 2 and do 5sc in the second ch from your hook (5) 
Rnd2-3: Sc x 5, fasten off at the end of Rnd3 (5)

Tail
Rnd1: On the backside of your t-rex where you would like the tail to be pick up 10 stitches (10)
Rnd2-4: Sc x 10 (10)
Rnd5: [Dec, sc x 3] x 2 (8)
Rnd6: Sc x 8 (8)
Rnd7: [Sc x 2, dec] x 2 (6)
Rnd8: Stuff your tail firmly, dec closed x 3  fasten off (3)

Nostril (make 2) 
Row1: Ch x 6, fasten off (6)

Assembly
Make sure your t-rex is stuff firmly and all ends are trimmed. Sew on the arms, legs and spikes. Sew on eyebrows and the nostrils, now enjoy your mini dino! Happy crocheting!
