HEAD

Rd1: With grey yarn 8sc in magic ring  (8)

Rd2: 8inc (16)

Rd3: [sc, 2inc, sc] 4times (24)

Rd4: [2sc, 2inc, 2sc] 4times  (32)

Rd5: [3sc, 2inc, 3sc] 4times (40)

Rd6: [3sc, 4inc, 3sc] 4 times (56)

Rd7: [5sc, 2dec, 5sc] 4times (48)

Rd8: [3sc, 3dec, 3sc] 4 times (36)

Rd17: sc, 12dec. Now stuff your Demogorogn's head firmly, but please do not pack firmly with stuffing where the neck will be placed. After crocheting Rd18-24....you will be pushing the neck whole up into your amigurumi's head.(13)

LEG (make 2)

Rd1: Starting at the bottom of your foot with grey yarn 6sc in magic ring (6)

Rd2: 6inc (12)

Rd3: 12sc in back loops (12)

Rd5: [4sc, dec] 2 times (10)

Rd6: 10sc, fo (10)

**For the second leg do not fasten off**

Rd7: 22sc around both legs

(you are now working the body, as one piece)

Rd15: [7sc, dec] 2 times. Now start stuffing your Demogorogns body firmly (16)

ARM (make 2)

Rd1: Starting at the bottom of your arm with grey yarn 5sc in magic ring (5)

Rd2-9: 5sc,fasten off at end of Rd9 (5)

Face

Rd1: With black yarn starting in the middle of your Demogorgon's face 6sc in magic ring (6)

Rd2: 6inc (12)

Rd3: [sc, inc] 6 times (18)

Rd4: Change to red yarn and 18sl st around (18)

Rd5: [2sc, inc] 6 times (24)

Row6: Now you will be creating each seperate face piece on your Demogorgon. You will no longer be crocheting in the round, to create these pieces you will be single crocheting in rows. 5sc (5)

Row7: turn, ch, 5sc (5)

Row8: turn, ch, sc, dec, 2sc (4)

Row9-10: turn, ch, 4sc (4)

Row11: turn, ch, sc, dec, sc (3)

Row12: turn, ch, 3sc (3)

Row13: turn, ch, sc, dec (2)

Row14: turn, ch, dec, fo (1)

**Now carry on creating each seperate face piece, five in total. In the stitch right beside where you created the first piece, insert your hook in the next stitch and follow the steps above Row6-14. Now in the very last face piece do an increase in the last stitch or you will be short a stitch. Do not fasten off, now sc around the entire piece then fasten off**

BACK OF FACE

Rd1-3: With grey yarn work the same as the front of the face.

Rd4: 18sc around (18)

Rd5: [2sc, inc] 6 times (24)

Rd6: [3sc, inc] 6 times (30)

Row7: You will now be starting the face pieces 6sc (6)

Row8-9: turn, ch, 6sc (6)

Row10: turn, ch, 2sc, dec, 2sc (5)

Row11: turn, ch, 5sc (5)

Row12: turn, ch, sc, dec, 2sc (4)

Row13: turn, ch, 4sc (4)

Row14: turn, ch, sc, dec, sc (3)

Row15: turn, ch, 3sc (3)

Row16: turn, ch, dec, sc (2)

**Now carry on creating each seperate face piece, five in total. In the stitch right beside where you created the first piece, insert your hook in the next stitch and follow the steps above Row7-16.Do not fasten off, now sc around the entire piece then fasten off**

ASSEMBLY

Now you will sew the top of the neck closed. I used the opposite end of my hook to push the last few rounds of the head up into the head to crete the opening in the head where you will place the neck and body. I then lined up the front and back of the face of your Demogorgon, and used pins to secure both pieces. Then I used a sewing needle and used a long piece of grey yarn and sew them together.....sewing through both pieces of the last round all the way around the face.  I sewed the arms on the body. Then I took white yarn and sewed on little lines for the teeth randomly on the face. Weave in your ends and trim them! Now enjoy your own mini Demogorgon...while wathcing Stranger Things!
